AUTO STORE works for you to get the lowest price for the car you want, in your preferred color, with your preferred options. This means you don’t have to go back and forth from one dealer to another, wasting time looking and trying to negotiate a good deal.  You don’t have to talk with salespeople who put the dealer’s interests first and only motivated to move the cars they have on their lot. How are you different from Internet auto sites?

Most automotive Internet sites don’t even come close to what we do.  When you request a price quote from them, all they really do is send your personal information to several dealers in your area. Then you’ll be contacted by each dealer’s Internet sales department.  In reality your shopping experience will be no different than if you’d gone to the dealer in the first place. You’ll still have to negotiate and go back and forth from one dealer to another. In contrast, AUTO STORE removes all of the runaround and does all the negotiating for you.  We are on YOUR side.

Is there a fee for your services?

We charge a service fee of $300, which you’ll more than make back with the savings we get for you. This fee enables us to search thoroughly for your car,  negotiate the lowest price possible on your behalf, and take care of all of the administrative details required to deliver it. Our professional services reduce the time and hassle you would otherwise endure yourself, and still result in you saving money on your new car.

Remember AUTO STORE’s price guarantee: if you’re able to acquire the exact new car from another source for less, simply present proof of your transaction and we will refund our fee.

Why do dealers work with AUTO STORE?

Authorized new car dealers love us for several  reasons. First, they know that we represent serious buyers who are committed to purchasing a new vehicle.  Second, we help dealers sell more cars than they can alone in their local markets, thereby increasing their territory and revenues. This means they move their inventory faster, which in turn lowers their overhead and flooring costs.  It’s very important to a dealer’s ultimate profit and success.

Because we negotiate lower prices for our clients, dealers earn less profit on sales through AUTO STORE. However, since the dealer does not have to pay commissions to its salesman, sales manager and finance manager, it is a win-win for both you and the dealer.

What if I want to finance or lease?

That’s no problem. We can assist with both. Leasing and financing consultation is an important part of our service.  If you have already made your own finance arrangements through a credit union, that’s fine, too.  But we can offer our expertise, explain the pros and cons of leasing and financing, and show you all your payment options.

What about all those factory rebates and special finance rates?

Exactly like warranties, you qualify for those just as if you went into the dealer yourself. By law a dealer must honor all promotional offers available, despite the fact the car is sold to you through AUTO STORE.

How long will it take to get my new car?

We work at your pace. Normally, our turn around time is just a few days.  If you need results sooner, or are looking to purchase in the future, just let us know. We are here to serve you.

 

Do I get the carmaker’s warranty?

Absolutely—you will get the exact same warranty coverage as if you personally bought the car from your local dealer. Your car comes directly from a new car dealership and the title transfers directly from the dealer to you. We simply work to get you the best price, and then deliver the car to you. You are the first owner of the car, with all of the rights to the car’s warranty. The difference is the time, money, and hassles you save by working through us.

Why do you work with dealers?

We work with dealers because, in California, all new cars must be sold from authorized dealerships. This legislation was designed to help protect consumers, and makes sure the automobile manufacturers stand behind their products for warranty claims, repairs, and so on.

Where can I get my new car serviced?

You can get your car serviced at any authorized dealer of your choice—the dealer near your home, the dealer near your work, or any other dealership location for that matter. Dealers love your service business even if they didn’t sell you the car.

Can you get hard-to-find models?

We can get any make and model new vehicle offered in the U.S. Our search for your car will start out local and statewide, and we’ll expand it to the regional and national level as necessary. We will exhaust every possible resource to locate the exact car you want at the best price.

Can you special order my car and still get a better price?

Yes, we can special order any car through our dealer network and still guarantee you the lowest price. Your car will be built to your exact specifications.

I have a car to sell.  Can you help with that?

We are happy to handle your trade-in when you hire us to find your new car. However, it’s worth noting that you will get the absolute best price for your used car if you sell it yourself. But what will that effort cost you? While placing ads in the paper and online isn’t that expensive, the real cost is the time and stress of waiting for prospective buyers to show up. Between the no-shows and the low-ballers, you may end up with a larger check but a whole lot of frustration and unhappiness, too.

If you prefer to eliminate the hassle of selling your used car on your own, AUTO STORE provides a pleasant, “one stop shopping” experience by accepting your trade-in when we deliver your new car. We’re often able to get you more money for your trade-in than you’d get directly from a dealer or a used car lot.  It still won’t be as much as if you sold it privately yourself, but you avoid the  hassle and inconvenience of posting ads and responding to inquiries.
